Bath Academy of Musical Theatre offers a Foundation course in Musical Theatre. The course is aimed primarily at students (aged 16+) wishing to develop their singing, dancing and acting skills, focussing on audition preparation for gaining entry onto full time drama school and musical theatre courses. It is also valuable for anyone looking to improve their technique and core skills in musical theatre performance.

Running on Monday and Thursday evenings, the course is designed so that students can continue with their daytime studies at college/school or employment, whilst receiving the necessary training from specialist performing arts lecturers and practitioners. This foundation course will give students an introduction into the dedication and hard work required in full-time training establishments.
